MUSHICAT operates the mobile game MUSHICAT available on the App Store for devices running iOS.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use our Game.

1. Information We Collect

We collect limited information only when a user voluntarily submits a high score to our leaderboard.

A. Leaderboard Submissions

If you choose to submit your high score, we may collect:

  • Your chosen display name (username or nickname)
  • Your high score
  • The date/time of submission

This information is used solely to display rankings within the Game’s leaderboard.

Submission of a high score is voluntary. You may play the Game without submitting your score.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

Aside from voluntary leaderboard submissions:

  • No account registration is required
  • No personal contact information is requested
  • No analytics services are used
  • No advertising services are used
  • No tracking technologies are implemented
  • No gameplay data is collected beyond submitted leaderboard scores

We do not collect device identifiers, precise location data, or behavioral tracking information.

3. How Leaderboard Data Is Used

Leaderboard data is used only to:

  • Rank players based on submitted scores
  • Display usernames and scores within the Game

We do not sell, rent, or share leaderboard information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage

Leaderboard submissions may be stored on secure servers in order to maintain rankings.

All other gameplay data (such as progress and settings) is stored locally on your device only.

5. Third-Party Services

The Game does not integrate third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

However, distribution of the Game through Apple’s App Store may involve data collection by Apple in accordance with Apple’s own privacy practices. We do not control and are not responsible for data collected by Apple.

6. Children’s Privacy

The Game is not specifically directed toward children under 13, though it may be enjoyed by a general audience.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Leaderboard display names should not include real names or personal information.

Because we collect only limited, voluntarily submitted display names and scores, the Game does not engage in behavioral tracking regulated under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical safeguards to protect leaderboard data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be reflected by changing the “Last Updated” date above and posting the revised policy with the Game’s App Store listing.

Your continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
